"Through my paintings, my ETHOS emerges
even before my words are spoken or my person is known."
In Aristotle's dictionary, the word "ETHOS" signifies authenticity, which aptly encapsulates my artistic identity. Therefore, I chose ETHOS as the defining theme for my first significant collection. It represents the essence of who I am and embodies the truest reflection of myself.

"Then, they can tell me if they even knew me.
No, they didn't!
Animals know each other, humans don't.
Dzsidzsia does not know me, though she is my wife and my guardian angel, my drawer and my heart are open to her.
But she does not know me.
Only the face of man is known, but his face is not he. He is behind his face. He is invisible.
Géza Gárdonyi : The invisible man
The Invisible Man is an artwork inspired by the Hungarian novel. A human invisibility is a mystery for the artist, which appears in the middle of the painting.
The artist depicts several faces of the people in the form of distortions.
Everyone is really struggling with understanding themselves as well as what and how much they can show of their real nature. The colours blending together in the background make the painting even more mysterious, as does the subject itself. The blacks represent total obscurity, the yellows, the edge of truth, while the whites, our barely visible personalities.

DUEL
· 80x60cm
· oil and acrilic gold on canvas
· ORIGIN: ERFURT 2020

The painting DUEL, symbolises the conflict and struggle of human relationships.
The artist chose birds to represent the subject. As we will see in his later paintings, he repeatedly uses the bird motive, as he likes to express the message of his paintings through natural symbols.

The battle of the two male peacocks, a symbol of life's struggles to consolidate our position and strengthen our self-confidence.
The reds and blacks swirling in the background, illustrate the exclusion of struggle from the outside. Whoever we confront, the conflict so obscures everything about ourselves that we fail to see things realistically.

Love
· 80x60cm
· oil And acrylic gold on canvas
· ORIGIN: ERFURT 2020

Something as power as love is hard to put into words, but oftentimes it's necessary to figure out how to say what you really mean to your significant other.
The best and the worst thing about love is that it cannot be expressed in words.
The artist tries to express what he feels through his painting.
The rose is the symbol of love. In the painting, it appears out of nowhere, breaking the harmony of the composition and bursting until it is fully formed. The tiled design behind it, symbolises the different areas of life.
The black, in harmony with green and gold, gives the painting its feeling and energy. The whites with cyclamen and pale blues make the composition more dramatic and illustrate the many shades of love.

Suddenly nothing
· 80x60cm
· oil on canvas
· ORIGIN: ERFURT 2020
The sudden cessation of existence.
Takes up a special part in the artist's life.
The artist is deeply involved with this question and it is reflected in many of his works.
The symbol of the bird is a beloved personal choice of the artist. The bird as it falls from the sky, symbolizing the meaning of sudden nothingness. Immovable and calm.
The colours of the bird feathers in the shadows may remind us of the glorious soaring of days gone by, which can disappear in an eternal moment
Where nothing remains but the darkness of the unknown.

Among the slats of light
· 80x60cm
· oil on canvas
· ORIGIN: ERFURT 2020
It was nowhere. There was nothin'.
He stumbled in a slat of light.
He stumbled in a slat of light.
Magda Szabó: Among the slats of light
Sehol se volt. Semmi se volt.
A fény lécében elbotolt.
(Szabó Magda: A fény lécei közt )
The upper part of the painting is the Van Gogh´s moonlight and the surrounding moon courtyard. The choice of this subject and style is very close to the artist's heart.
These night lights open up into a more abstract world, reflecting the artist's feelings in poem "Among the slats of light" by Magda Szabó.
The faded lights of the night appear and unfold in a spiral, like the feeling that grabs you when you read the poem. The artist has experienced and lived much of what is written, on his own.
The technique is the familiar painter's knife, with a combination of brush.

Aurea Mediocritas (The Golden Mean)
· 80x60cm
· oil And acrylic gold on canvas
· ORIGIN: ERFURT 2020

"The Golden Mean. Somewhere between don't give a shit and dying. Between locking yourself in and letting the whole world in. Don't get tough but don't let yourself be destroyed either. Very difficult.""
Romain Gary (Émile Ajar): The anguish of King Solomon
The painting symbolises the artist's struggle, to find the right way of living. The reds represent the extremities, we should avoid, and the yellow is the safe options- The Golden Mean- according to the artist.
The vision that unfolds in the golden spiral is a symbol of the path we must follow, to achieve our purposes and at the same time keep our temperance.
Choosing the middle way in real life is not always that simple, and maybe sometimes we can't find it, but we have to strive for it.
